  1. I knew the name of starch by his criticism, not a bad place to start. His wisdom, insightful comment by Cormac McCarthy is expected before all copies of his books. Once I learned that strength even wrote fiction, I cracked this, his last novel, without délai.La premise was promising and simple. Take a small town in America, no real problems, introducing an element of perceived danger watch as the fun. So what if Arthur Miller and Stephen Dobyns has already been done? Then it hit me. I was thirty pages in and still waiting for something to jump from side to indulge. He never did. Nothing was more, I did not know how the characters, and found the letter uninvolving. If the only real test is for a value of a book, the joy, it gives the reader, the burning desire to go on re-reading this book, is a failure. Hope the next one is better. Rating: 5.2

  2. / / Security / / The last novel / / Human Capital / / author Stephen Amidon, over six days in the life of the common owners of a private security company in the Northeast. The setting is a rural community, whose main claim to fame is a small university campus. Much of the novel revolves around the interaction of a philandering professor and several students wrote, we see his relationship with his teacher against. historical fiction dealing with other students with his father so suddenly acquires a life of its own people to interpret fiction as fact. / / Security / / ‘s plot is simple, with the final results of the pre-ordered early. The only stress is what happens in many middle pages. The best have their bad points, some bad guys have some qualities of redemption, and the true villain ends falling over like crazy, that someone evil by nature. Insights into the mentality of the young college students, and how some people spinning wild rumors and gossip about the “facts” are the main points of this novel. In addition, many questions remained unanswered, so pleased that some readers plus.Compte Reynolds made ledavid Rating: 5.3

  3. I liked this book. It is a well off Turner, also written page. The story is burning throughout the slow, but the nesting and the management of relations has been fun to follow, and the story goes there is more to the affected people and events. In fact, it is a fun book, that the block has hinted at during the event on the book, without ever properly defined. The title is ironic, everyone wants in the book for sure, but nobody can find it, and it’s not quite bring fin.J have the ability to work in the small town life, loved, with its superficial politeness and some deeper fault lines. The slowness of the story was like a Mahler allegro intense, a little slow, but to build something magnifique.Malheureusement as in many novels, the collection is large, but in the end it falls. Too fast, and we never know what happens to the villain, or why he did what he could easily adapt faisait.Le book a very good movie now, and perhaps be even better on screen. Overall, I rate this novel a good book. Rating: 5.4

In some ways, feels Stephen Amidon of “security” as a version of the East Coast, “Bright Shiny Morning by James Frey. Starch characters have a great sense of paranoia, that Frey and her desire towards inevitable self-destruction in a world gone rush Stir Crazy shares appear to present – if a little nicer and more insular compared adequately to life in a small town in Massachusetts College, Los Angeles, to Frey. Starch text is more appropriate, measured and Frey is a sober (though sometimes equally powerful) Vitriol against today’s (supposedly) to humanity. These two books provide snapshots in a Web-Lifetime people, each with images, almost, of some of the most important moments in the lives of their characters in the spotlight, “the more or less just in time and place . coincide The central four lives in the “security to connect and interact with each other much more than occurs with those presented in” Bright Shiny Morning, “which focuses more on the futility and isolation Los Angeles lives. gives us strength to a more integrated cross section of the community it represents Frey, but we feel his story never really come together in any coherent whole. Instead, we spend a lot of waiting for the book to find out what it really asking a question, whether something will never happen, and if so, how it all goes up. The end comes quickly and leaves little sense to give answers to questions lecteur.Certaines parts of the book is written cleverly, but others seemed a bit sloppy, with some almost familiar phrases that I think could benefit from a stricter editorial. Overall, the book is quite short and worth reading, but I could not help thinking that I was a bit disappointed by the time I got to the end. Rating: 5.3

It’s Edward, who was the first to get wrong at home Doyle Cutler, when he meets a supposedly false alarm and takes more than an obstacle, drunk Connor Williams away from the estate of Doyle. Connor is the son of the former lover of Inman, Kathryn, a woman Edward could not purge his heart and his life despite his good intentions. Then there’s the charismatic teacher, Stuart Symes, which helps an affair with one of his brightest students and teachers in a class by Mary in literary creation. Stuart is somehow tied to the current scandal, a situation which his reputation and cases for tenure and insults his élèves.Amidon lucky combination of these different characters into a credible threat of action of the town, where the controversy breeds passionate reactions and spread rumors that regardless on the accuracy. Something is wrong in Stoneleigh, the reputation of the leading men on the line began to Mary in the middle, loses his innocence, as the swirl of stories and Doyle relentlessly protects the scandal. By loveless marriage of Edward, mother of Mary, the author captures the uncomfortable tension of the daily dramas and the controversy is a scandal at the surface in a small town. Life irrevocably changed, the hysteria, the truth as elusive as a man without a conscience. Luan Gaines/2010.Note: 5.4
