This is an excellent book for professionals in both BI and developers interested in Silverlight. Although the book is more oriented BI side, there is much more complete code examples show how data are displayed. In addition to Silverlight, the book also explains how to create visualizations with Expression Blend third Chapter 7, Silverlight Visual improvement of intelligence, was particularly useful because it is like to create a viewing window – something I’ve worked with almost all jours.Si I had a complaint that the book would have benefited shown to be in color . 2. With the purchase of “Next Generation Business Intelligence Software with Silverlight 3″, hoping to understand better how Silverlight can be used to simple, efficient, attractive tools that can be easily consumed by an average user on their desktop be created. I must admit that since I with business intelligence data for the years of work, I’ve had no experience with the Silverlight technology, and was more than skeptical when I read this book might be just too valuable to professionals in the BI and policy makers because it is Silverlight. But I was pleasantly surprised to learn that was absolutely the case. There are actually targets specific to each of the three groups at the beginning of each chapter, the reader of what is most relevant, helping to keep them focused. Examples and more site an adequate supporting information for each of the periods presented in the text. Overall, this book is very well written and very well organized and is a must for any professional working with Silverlight and / or the next generation of BI concepts. Rating: 5.5
