I read her fast manual EQ and loved this book, she opened her eyes. When I have this book I was looking for a step forward and elements of concrete measures to improve EQ. Although I have the book and love it a password online, you can get your EQ score, I think the advice on the improvement of the EQ is a bit superficielle.L author speaks four parameters that influence on EQ: self-awareness, self management, social action and relationship management. It’s all good, but then the notes on improvements really are a list of measures, but only one or two pages on each point, the flat for me. It should support more detailed plan to improve the EQ with stories, etc. The preface calls reading this book twice lets see if my opinion differs autour.Merci second time Rating: 5.3

  2. The big plus for me was to assess the emotional intelligence – but that proved to be a very short list of generic questions where I had my own emotional intelligence. If I knew how my own emotional intelligence, I would not need an assessment that I now? The strategies are very vague and not easy to implement. Rating: 5.3

First I made a big mistake in the procurement in the decision to buy this book or not. I have not read all commentaires.Après have read the book I have two things about the book that really bugs.1. ) The authors tried to describe the man briefly, in a case where finely packaged neatly integrated into the content that your intelligence, your emotional intelligence and personality. They say your IQ and personality are static and do not change in the situation in the course of your life. Only your emotional intelligence can be manipulated. I strongly disagree with them. Their actual capacity of the material process to a faster pace, it can not change the course of your life, but how you can process the documents are managed. For example, you can conduct your brain a Pentium 4 chip (even if more and more time, I think more like children in a 386) and your intelligence can work closely with the brain’s ability to process information in context, but intelligence is more than the natural ability to process data brutes.Si you learn to manage and process information differently, so you do not need a brain to improve faster and smarter your level of intelligence. To say that people as smart as the day they are born, as I said water can water in its three states. They stand right attention to the fact that it can not normal water so soft, liquid or solid, but the water is so much more than that. Sometimes intelligence is not only the physical but also the intention behind it and taking action as well. Water to soup, soda, liquid cooling, etc. be. . You can make a Pentium 4, but the possibility of a Core Duo chip with a hardftive outperform fragmented think better of themselves, and refined through the learning process Thusi that intelligence be increased in together. If they insist that intelligence alone is your rate and treatment of your brain then perhaps they should stop talking to the intelligence and call it simply the power of cerveau.En They also say your personality is stable throughout your life and can not be changed. I’m sure everyone here at Amazon is either someone who would their personality (ie, introverts are known introvert has changed, and vice versa), or have lived it yourself. When I was a child, I hated to meet people and the audience, because I was a shy child. I do not have much to say and where teachers and professors asked me to read aloud or forgettaboutit a presentation for the whole class! I did not party or go clubbing (early) and, to do, play chess to Starbucks.Ensuite through a process of experiencing life and learning life skills and communication and more information, I have changed. I thrive on public speaking and I go and meet people (although I like to keep both at home or go on an outting social function of the time find was my mood, and where we all play a role in my decision as to whether introverted or extroverted, I’m at the time). My problem with writers is that they appear to label people and say that people can not change it intellectully can not change their personality traits or characteristics. If this were truly the case, then change a cheater / liar / thief / murderer / DUI never to change their habits because their personailty (Vice characteristic weak to desire, desire, greed, to resist, etc…). I know people who are serial cheaters in school and could not keep her @ $ @! In the pants (not too many women only guy … In fact, more women than men deceive). Now they are married and had children and tied their relationship. How did they discover that the reason why she cheated the temptation and, because they were young and carefree and felt experience. You still have momentum, but overall do not feel the urge to drive to act more because they have been there before and they prefer stability maintenant.Selon them, the Holy Grail of change can be done by giving your EQ. It is quite a biased view. In the book, they make bold statements that the government “people who can work in low EQ, and to meet colleagues who are both in Excel – improve only through the work of their EQ.” So, what say you, is that yours probably by improving your EQ by disregarding the knowledge and skillsets to improvements as well as the colleague who works with a processor super chip with an IQ of 175 and a high EQ with a slower processor. Gypsies once a medicine sold in the past, offers people the cures that the only thing to save what they can, the substance of the traffic has to say. shameless self-promotion, if you ask me. Imagine a second physicist, on average, but still very intelligent physicist which has a relatively average IQ of 129 and low EQ, and Einstein, which is both high IQ and EQ. The author argues that if the average physicist equalization improves Einstein or better, he is the same as by Einstein. Right, and if you dress up like a pig, cow, pig, you get the same price at an auction of the animals. It is still on the ground when the right classification success? The first physicist would not achieve as much as Einstein would. What I have a problem with authors that they almost recklessly and foolishly press the idea that equation is the only thing (or at least the only thing that has the absolute effect) that determines whether a person lead admirably for a job. It is irresponsible, because it is the people will be down there suggesting that their lazy asses to do not to start the stage as Bill Gates or Steve Jobs in disregard of the fact that both Jobs and Gates to continually improve in a very non-EQ moyens.2.) In addition to Who Moved My Cheese and is like your bucket, I can not remember another book that more than the pressure of this book. EQ has is a very important and complex issue that can not be adequately covered in this book. I’m with the other reviewers on that matter. It’s like they tell you to boil water and throw the chicken to chicken soup to make. How long should I cook? How to crush the quantity of spices? Do I have the chicken or cut into pieces? Maybe I should buy precut pieces? I know chicken soup is a bit more complex than just to throw boiling water and chicken. For me it is about their use of the information in this book presented revealing. be taken too narrow and shortsighted too seriously. After all, you would not explain buy a book the reasons for the kitchen and why people get sick in cooked foods, but if you see listings all you are told to begin the things in the crock pot throwing, but do not say to use the money or this piece of meat or the cooking time right? A further indication that the authors shallow, a little in their content and the commitment in writing a real book knowledgeable and helpful things are is their online questionnaire EQ. J ‘ve seen more games in cereal boxes. And if you think that this is not the quantity but the quality of content matters … No, they PDB than 3 or 4 questions Four EQ on each skill. Buy After answering some questions that they say magically you how to vote émotionnellement.Pas well not recommended. this book to read. In fact, if you want to read not. Rating: 5.1

  4. Emotional intelligence is on two things: the logic of separation of emotions, and understand the people first. Their lawyers themselves are not very useful. Books like “How to make friends and influence people” and “7 habits of men are” much more useful to use in your everyday life. The “test” is included in the price is hardly an objective measure of emotional intelligence, but the book relies heavily on this “test”. Some of these tips in different sections are useful, but some are foolish nonsense. I expected a lot from this book, but I was very impressed by the lack of logic (!) Disappointed in the proposals. Half the book consists of the author demonstrates that emotional intelligence is important, the test is definitive, and your rung in society depends on social emotional intelligence. I hope you do not make the same mistake as me. Rating: 5.3

  5. Bob Dobbs says:

This book is OK. It has good tips classés.Le book has a fundamentally good content, but could benefit from better editing. The turbulent flow of the text seems to me sometimes. I see some factual errors, for example, do not buy Lenovo “IBM”, he bought the former IBM Personal Computing Division (page 242). You can make money by buying a used copy of Dale Carnegie save. “How to Win Friends and Influence People” Note: 5.3
