It was overall a very good reading for those who like the hands on approach to learning. The author knows the sujet.Etant again on this subject, I find it very easy in the details step by step examples to get lost, often forget the purpose of the exercise are often several pages! There are also errors in some of the examples that are not so obvious AFIX without using Google. (Council for Vista users use EXCLUDE Fox Pro Pilot Download Download the latest version of Microsoft) This is particularly frustrating for beginners, if the error is not often surface until you are the implementation of recent examples (the examples in this book, build on each other) Please dont let my comments, contact the purchase of this excellent book. For starters expect to have to read the book more than once. Rating: 5.4
This is a good book on the subject of departure would have been probably better if the author was not to postpone the delivery until the end, but it could, for example in Excel PivotTable each step along the show route so that readers can immediately see the results of certain actions, but still it is a good book and prepare yourself for at least one other in the topic after reading Rating: 5.4
This is not Larson’s first book I bought after he saw through his book and his MSDN webcast on Reporting Services. I like his style, and it is a good overview of the BI in sufficient depth to get you started, but not detailed enough to show that you are bogged down as you move through the process. Rating: 5.5
